Infrastructure for a sustainable future
Expected global investment in new infrastructure over the next 20 years is expected to exceed the current value of all the infrastructure in the world right now. To support investment in infrastructure that is resilient to climate change impacts and can contribute to climate mitigation, we analyzed emerging technologies ranging from floating cities to smart undersea cables and reported on their feasibility, climate adaptation/mitigation potential, and overall environmental and social impacts.
